We're Still Here

Nothing's happened to us, we've just been extremely busy, and the camera has been taking a siesta. Okay, okay, I guess it's more of a, "Crap, I should have taken a picture!" And, of course, when I go to get the camera the moment has passed and there is no way to make it happen again.

Anyway, we had a great Thanksgiving and mini-Christmas with my family in Levelland. I miss you all so much already! And, Nana, I know you're gonna cry, but he's hollering for you now! : )

We can't wait til Christmas, we have most of our gifts bought, so only a few left to go and we're all set!

I promise I'll update soon, cause some new things have happend. Stay tuned.

The Box of Wipes

We recently ran out of baby wipes, so I went to Target to get a box, along with some diapers.

Later that evening, I stocked them in Nolan's changing table, changed his diaper, and then left the room to throw it away. I came back to this...

...no wipes on my shelf.

Nolan apparently didn't like the idea and decided to put them where he thought they belonged...

...back in the box.

I guess I shouldn't complain, since he is putting things where they belong...even after a few times of both Brady and I reshelving them, he started to take them back and forth from the box to changing table! I had to finally get the box out of his room cause this could have turned in to an all night battle!

My little guy is too smart sometimes.

Monster!

We caught the Sock Monster! On camera, although I wish we had cause, man, do I have some missing socks!

And then we played with him! Nolan finally figured out how to do this, well probably about a month ago, but now he has it mastered...and if we don't see him around the house, we can hear that blocks tumbling out of the wheel and the music playing! Thanks Aunt Mo...or should I thank Lauryn?!?

He also figured out how to climb onto his baseball rocker, Homer! We were very excited about that cause he finally plays with it and enjoys it...well, until he starts rocking and his belly makes the music stop, at that point, he's not a fan.

Anyway, just some playful pics. Hope you enjoyed : )
*Aunt Mo, we'll let you know when we catch the PJ Monster ; )

Green Stripes

I love this green striped shirt that I bought Nolan, and again, it's a shirt that I bought right after he was born, so I've been waiting to put it on him.

He didn't let me get this best pictures on this day because he had other priorities. Priorities that consisted of playing on the tractor (yes, it's the tractor, again) and trying to run into the street.
So, I took what I could get, while still trying to keep him safe : )

I love this pic even though you can't see his face...it just looks cute!

UGH. I Did It.

I hope some of you are happy...I finally did it...I took him to get his hair cut.

Even though it wasn't his first haircut, it was the first haircut in a long time...the last few have just been small trims without taking away length, so it was really hard for me to do. I really love his hair and just thinking about cutting it was making me cry yesterday! However, after seeing some of the pics I took of him last night...he really needed it.

So, I took him up the road to GreatClips for a simple cut. Of course, my idea of simple cut and the stylists are always different. I said that I wanted it shorter in the back but not too short up top...she just kept cutting and cutting...they always do! However, Nolan did really well (probably because she gave him a sucker to keep him occupied) until she brought out the razor to trim around his ears and neck...oh well.

It is shorter than I actually planned, but he is still as adorable as ever!
He looks so serious here though, I don't think he likes it : )
No more sideburns again : (
When we got home, he showed daddy his new look, played for a while and then we had to take a bath to get all the hair off...it was in his diaper!
Here he is all slicked up, and still serious, so he may atually not be too happy about this haircut business!

He looks so grown up now. Where did my little man go? I've come to the conclusion that this is the reason I avoided the haircut...I didn't want to see my little guy go from being a baby to being my actual, little man.

Ugh. I'm off to cry now.
