Snacktime!

Thanks for the table, Nana and Papa!!! :)

Trains and Frogs

Nolan has been lining up his cars to make choo-choos for a while now, but the wouldn't "stay together" so we had to go get him an actual train! So, with the help of Santa, Granny and Papaw, we did :)

He LOVES it! We basically make a different track every night!

On this same day, it was the TCU game, so daddy put him in his jersey...

...We think he'll grow into it :) Go Frogs!

Party Pooper!

Time to go to bed on New Year's Eve...he wasn't ready :)

Our Little Cowboy

This was the gift he got from his Jamma and Pop, and he LOVES it! We haven't tried on the pants and jersey, but he is all about the helmet :)

Doesn't he look like a real player coming off the field?

I see you...

Here he is trying the Heisman pose; not quite there...

Now, he's got it!

He's tough...look out!

He's got BIG dreams, and we will support him all the way!!!

Visit from Santa!

(Sorry, I fell further behind in posts than I had planned!)

Christmas morning, and here is the loot our little guy got from Santa...

Of course, he went straight for the cars :)

Money! But, hey if he doesn't want it, we will gladly take it!!! (Just kidding, Santa, we put it to good use!)

After he cleared the little car basket, he turned it into a hat :) Silly kid!

A new sippy!

Some bath colors, which I thank for allowing him to color on the walls!

A Cowboys Football Flag that he HAD to have!

More goodies, which I think are socks...

And the big one from Santa was MATER!!!

Personally, I don't think he was that good, but I guess Santa saw something else that we missed! I'm pretty sure that it's cause Santa doesn't spend every day with him...who's with me?

Christmas in Levelland

This year, we spent Christmas with my parents, sisters and neices, as well as our extended family in Levelland! It's always good to be back home, especially around the holidays, even if things have changed since Grandpa and Grandma's passings...that's the exact reason for our family to be together, to make sure that those changes don't build walls between us all! We always remember them, and you can see the resemblence of one of them wherever you look in the room :) I miss them dearly, but like I said, being with other family is the BEST medicine!

So this year, we had the family fun at my mom and dad's house, where we gathered to play some games and eat some great tamales!!! After we ate, the kids played and then we waited for everyone to arrive so we could let all the little ones open their gifts (I didn't get any pictures of that though...oops!)!

During the play, Nolan "played" (I guess I can call it that, he was really taking toys away...) with his baby cousin, Dominic, whom he adores! He always asks about him, so getting to be around him is so cute to see...and, you can see why...
Look at Nolan's face just being around him! Of course, Dominic isn't so sure, but it's still priceless!
Nolan giving Dominic hugs... :)
And, kisses...SO SWEET!!!
And, he's still smiling, after Dominic crawled to his grandma for safety!
I then immediately stepped in to fill the void! I'll never pass up one of those hugs!!!
After the family left, we put on our pjs and got ready to open our family gifts.
(In this pic, if you can see, Nolan has a dirty face due to sneaking cookies with his Aunt V!)
This is the bear that Aunt V got him, and he likes to sleep with it at naptimes :)
Opening some more gifts...

Showing daddy his monster truck!

Finallay, he unwrapped the big gift from Nana and Papa...a Handy Manny four-wheeler!

We then cleaned up and went to bed to wait for Santa! You will just have to wait and see what he brought us :)
Hope you all had a Great Christmas!!!

Christmas for 3

Actually, Christmas for Nolan :)

We decided to let him open most of his gifts from us, here in Waco, so that we could save the hassle of taking it with us, to Levelland, and then packing it all back up in the car along with all the other stuff from everyone else! And thank goodness we did, cause it was LOTS of stuff!!!

So, here is our little man with his presents...

And, here he is on my camera level (he thinks he has to squat to get his pic taken, since I squat to take it...silly boy!)
Unwrapping one of many, with a smile on his face...
This was Bullseye, from Toy Story...

Here he is opening a garage, with lots of cars...
And, here he is telling Brady to get it open!
Still wanting it open!!! He wanted the helicopter inside :)
Onto the next ones...
This is a new bath toy, with cars...

Opening more cars (do you see a pattern???)

Oh, look! More cars!!! :)
Wanna guess what is in this one?

I don't remember what was in this, but I'm sure that it had something to do with cars...he loves them!

Here's his garage, and he LOVES the slides on it!

This is a GIANT gift from Brady's co-workers, who REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE!!! REALLY!

And this is the cool, bath toy that his daddy got him, and he LOVES it too!
We had a great pre-Christmas with Nolan, and loved the excitement that he had in opening his gifts! Of course, we are trying to teach him that Christmas isn't about the gifts, but that will come in time. For now, we will cherish the excitement that comes to our little man's face :)
