Kite Festival

I forgot all about this day until I looked back through my pictures!

Nolan and I had a morning outing to the Sertoma Kite Fest, at the beginning of the month, and he really enjoyed it!

When we arrived, he got his free kite, and he immediately made me fly it :) I've never flown a kite, so it was interesting.

We then sat back and watched the giant kites take off...

We then went to some of the booths, and Nolan found a racecar tatoo that he wanted, but as soon as she got it on him, he immediately asked for it to be taken off! Crazy kid!!!

He played a couple of games, got some prizes, we watched more kites and then came home to eat lunch with dad and take a nap :)

It was a good, windy day!

Tractor Time

Nolan has had his tractor since he was 1 (Thanks, Papa!) He figured out how to really maneuver it a few months ago, so on the weekends this is what he wants to do...

Mayborn Museum

It's been a while since Nolan has been to the Mayborn Museum, and it was daddy's first time!

Nolan was eager to go from room to room, well, until he saw the trains, but we did manage to get him to look at all of the exhibits before we spent the last 15 at the trains!

Here he is making his own course for the ping pong balls, he really enjoyed this!


Next, we drove a bus and a firetruck!

Easter 2011

Before I get too far behind, here is Easter :)

I knew that my mom and dad were coming for Easter this year, but little did I know that my sister, and her family, as well as my aunt's family were coming as well. However, we managed to fit everyone into our tiny house, and have a great lunch and egg hunt (even with there not being any hiding places in our yard).

And, this year, Nolan knew exactly what to do!

He saw the hard boiled eggs, and walked right by them :)

I don't know what he was doing in the last two pics, but they make me smile! We had a great Easter Sunday with our family, even with the short notice :) Love y'all!
