Our Summer

Wow, so summer has just about come and gone (except for the heat!), and I haven't blogged about our lives in a very long time...did you miss me? Well, if you have, you haven't missed much! We really haven't had an exciting summer, just a ball game over Memorial Day weekend, some splashing in the kiddie pool, and a 4th of July parade at daycare :) Not much at all!

However, instead of me trying to catch up with different blogs, you are getting a compilation!

We will start with our trip to see the Round Rock Express, which is the Rangers minor league team, which is the Rangers to Nolan! :D

Here he is with dad by a cow that he thought was really cool!

Here's my first attempt at a picture with him (his mouth is red from cherry snowcone!)...

And, here is the one where he attempted to cooperate more...I mean, at least I got a smile!

7th inning stretch with the Express Bulldog and a giant tooth...go figure!

We left right after this cause it got to loud for the little man, and he was NOT enjoyng it!!!

Now, onto our water fun...in our front yard :I

We had to get another pool this summer cause he's just too big for the one we had! He absolutely LOVES the water, and getting in and out of it!

Splashing...

Playing with his cars...

His favorite part of swimming...the redneck slide...

I mean really, look at that smile!

Who needs to go to a water park, when their kid is completely happy with his own slide in a kiddie pool??? Let's see how many more years we can keep this up ; )

We have now made it to the 4th of July! Nolan's school held a parade, where the kids from Nolan's age and up marched around the church waving flags, crafts they made, and playing instruments along to some music! Very cute for his age group...they did exactly what their teacher told them to, exactly when she said to!

Can you spot our little guy? He's the one in the hat...he doesn't leave home without one!

Marching with the boys...

Waving his plate cause Ms Becky said to! : )

And, there they go...end of the parade for my little guy.

Here is a little clip of him marching. I tried to stay in the back, but he spotted me!

Like I said, it's been very low key so far. Next week he will be with his Jamma and Pop, and then the following week, he and I will be in Lubbock to visit family and celebrate his birthday early...can't wait! Once we get back home, we will then go to visit his new school, and he will start the following week...I'll need prayers! I love the new school, and I am just praying that he will love it as much as I do.

See you in the Fall! : )
