7 months and moving.
Nolan is now 7 months old, and it just blows my mind! I cannot believe 7 months have passed... he'll be a year in a week!
Anyway, at Easter he tried lots of new foods and liked them all! Just call him Mikey : )
Nolan got to try fries, beans and tortillas, mashed potatoes, green beans, and some gerber puffs (we had to give him actual baby food!)! He loved all of it.
As for the rest of Easter...it was a tiring trip (hence the new header photo). Friday we drove into town and that photo was the result once we had been there for a few hours. Nolan did well in the car, except for every two hours! He finally fell asleep, but it didn't last long. He was just too busy watching everyone that was at mom and dad's...he's a nosey booger : )
On Saturday, we woke up and got ready. Monica, the girls and I went to see the Hannah Montana movie...loved it. We then went to take pics with Nana and Papa and the cousins...I can't wait to see them! Then, I got sick and it went down hill from there.
Sunday, I didn't make it to church, but I got Nolan ready and sent him with mom and dad; they, as well as Lexi and Lauryn have been dying to take him to church! Apparently he did really well, so I am glad. Once they got home, it was time to get ready and head to my aunt's house for lunch and Easter egg hunting. We ate, I began to feel sick again, we decided to leave. The ride home was much better and quicker, so I can't complain. When we finally got home, the look on Nolan's face when he realized where we were was priceless...he couldn't have been happier to see our house! I took him into his bedroom and his face just lit up! He sat in his bed and played for a while, and then he decided that he would show us his new trick...that's right...he stood up. He's been working on this for a while and had gotten really good at it over the weekend. For now, though, we are lucky cause he can't sit up on his own yet. Yet. He is really working on that now.
So that brings us to now. Now he is 7 months, and now, he is trying to move everywhere. Crawling, scooting, pivoting, sitting, standing...he wants to do it all. We are going to have our hands full very soon.
Happy 7 months baby boy!
check out that poofy hair! : )
Here's a video of him trying to crawl/creep, whatever you want to call it...don't mind the *snorkel*

Yum-o!
These last 3 are of him eating prunes, which he really enjoyed a few hours later!
It's been really fun to watch him taste all the new foods, but he is doing so well with them all. He was iffy about the carrots, but loved squash, sweet potatoes, and peas (yuck!) He actually ate the entire container of peas tonight, so now he smells like them and it's disgusting!!! I still love him though, stinky and all : )
So, Nana, Papa, Jamma and Pop...get ready for some messy feedings next time you see this little man! And, I can't forget the messy *bonus* diaper that comes later! You'll love it, I promise!

Long time, No post
Anywho, we are doing well. Happy Be-lated anniversary to me and Brady! 2 years, and one baby later...(no that does not mean that there will be more babies!) We spent the day together, just the two of us, while Nolan was at daycare. I felt guilty for taking him, but he enjoys it so I don't feel that bad. We really didn't do anything though, but sleep in, eat lunch and go to the mall. It was nice but weird.
Another update is that our little Nolan is FINALLY eating babyfood! He is now eating cereal, mixed with juice or fruit. He has really impressed me with how well he is doing, cause he used to not even attempt to try it. He started this last weekend, so I decided to take the cereal and juice up to daycare...you would have thought that he had never had the stuff before. His teacher said that he screamed his head off so she just stopped, and he was fine. The next day, I sent one of his spoons, thinking that that may be the issue, and I also sent some pears...that was the issue! She said he gobbled it down that day, so I guess he got my sweet tooth : )
Speaking of teeth, he still hasn't had any cut through, but I know they are coming. The kid is a slobber bucket! I can't wait to see him with his little teefers, but I will miss his cute little gum smile. With that, I'll post some pics, but they aren't of him smiling (just fyi).
I think mom has a similar picture of me like this...weird.
Look at that big ol' belly!
And look at those beautiful, long eyelashes! Too cute!
Sweet dreams, little man.
