Christmas for 3

Actually, Christmas for Nolan :)

We decided to let him open most of his gifts from us, here in Waco, so that we could save the hassle of taking it with us, to Levelland, and then packing it all back up in the car along with all the other stuff from everyone else! And thank goodness we did, cause it was LOTS of stuff!!!

So, here is our little man with his presents...

And, here he is on my camera level (he thinks he has to squat to get his pic taken, since I squat to take it...silly boy!)
Unwrapping one of many, with a smile on his face...
This was Bullseye, from Toy Story...

Here he is opening a garage, with lots of cars...
And, here he is telling Brady to get it open!
Still wanting it open!!! He wanted the helicopter inside :)
Onto the next ones...
This is a new bath toy, with cars...

Opening more cars (do you see a pattern???)

Oh, look! More cars!!! :)
Wanna guess what is in this one?

I don't remember what was in this, but I'm sure that it had something to do with cars...he loves them!

Here's his garage, and he LOVES the slides on it!

This is a GIANT gift from Brady's co-workers, who REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE!!! REALLY!

And this is the cool, bath toy that his daddy got him, and he LOVES it too!
We had a great pre-Christmas with Nolan, and loved the excitement that he had in opening his gifts! Of course, we are trying to teach him that Christmas isn't about the gifts, but that will come in time. For now, we will cherish the excitement that comes to our little man's face :)

Happy November

These are just some Happy pictures of our little Turkey, from November (better late than never)...

He's just too cute and cheesey! Oh, how I love this little man :)

Remember that time, when...

The Rangers were in the World Series?

Well, that is where my blogging had left off, and my pictures patiently waited in my camera :)

Our little family will never forget this past baseball season, mainly because the Rangers were phenomenal, but also because our little man fell in love with America's favorite pastime!

The joy of Nolan's little face as he watched the Texas Rangers play is still priceless :)

The night before I had cut a piece of this box for school...Nolan turned it into his chair :)

Here he was so into the game, but saying "Cheese!", and was completely oblivious to daddy's bunny ears.
...and antlers...

However, he caught on quick and started doing his own antlers!

...And, claw!

Needless to say, we can't wait for baseball season to start up again...Nolan actually thinks that he should still be able to turn the tv on and see the Rangers! We just found out about their Winter Carivan coming to Waco, and Brady asked Nolan if he wanted to go see Ian Kinsler, and he immediately said, "Let's go, mom!" And, he meant right then and there!!!

Oh how I love my little baseball player :)

*other updates will come soon...I know that I am way behind, I mean, come on, I'm writing about October! Stay with me people.

FBWaco Fall Festival

Today was Nolan's Fall Festival, so that meant wearing his newly made Halloween costume...

Well, for 15minutes anyway. Nolan is not crazy about his costume, and well, I didn't blame him today since it was 90*! However, I still think it is hilarious, and I'm glad I got some pics...you'll see...

Are you ready?

Here goes...

"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"

"Mom, I hate this costume."

The hat is what made the costume, but that was his least favorite part.

He drove us to the festival, you know...

Full costume... :)

"I traveled through the Candy Cane Forest..."

...And, then I changed, so that I could play...sort of.

He climbed up the bounce slide, and then he sat up there whining!

He's still trying to figure out if he should try it or not...

And, he didn't...

We went to the other bounce house, and he enjoyed it much more...

That is, until he got to the top again...

But, once he slid, he was all smiles...

So, he had to do it again!

LOVE IT!!!
It was then time to round up the troops...
...so we could get home to watch the Rangers!
Although the costume didn't work out, he had fun at the festival, and he had a blast cheering on his Rangers! That's all that matters, right? Go RANGERS!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday our little family went to the Pumpkin Patch becuase, all week, Nolan has been shouting "Pumpkin Hatch!" everytime I pass by it :)

So, once daddy came home, we got ready to go. But, not before Nolan showed me how excited he was about going...

We got there, and he really had no idea what to think about all the pumpkins. He looked so cute amongst them all...

He checked them all out, so that he could pick the perfect one. I think this one was too big...

This one was too bumpy...

Here he is just being silly and cheesing it up for the camera!

Now, he is still searching for the right one...

Still too big for him...
Maybe there is one over here...
That one could be it...
"NO! It's over there..."
We looked at the "baby" pumpkins, but they still weren't right. However, something caught his eye!

Here it is! The baby pumpkin he was looking for!!!
Then it was time for some pics with his selection...
I love this one, where he is showing off his pumpkin!
Before we left the nice people gave him a pumpkin patch sticker, and here he is showing me...

We had a fun time watching him run around and look at all the pumpkins. Now he walks out onto the porch, where he sees the ones we bought, and says, "Look! My baby pumpkin and daddy's pumpkin!" It's too cute!

Happy Fall everyone : )
