Oh My Gosh!

It's that time. The time where we have decided to let our baby become the actual little guy we always say he is. It's time for...the toddler bed.

And, as much as I am dreading it, Nolan was beyond excited about "his bed."
He even sat down, said cheese, and let me take a picture!!! How cute!!!
Then he did what Nolan does best, rolled and jumped around in his new bed!
BTW, this is how he fell asleep for naptime on Sunday...crazy kid!
Here, he was telling me that this was his "night-night." That's right, little man, you remember those words!
He's gotten so big, and I can't stand it! My little Nolan just isn't so little anymore...
*Bonus!* So, not only did I title this blog OMG because my child is growing faster than I can keep up with, but because he loves the Usher/Will.I.Am song so much...check it out : )
This wasn't his best rendition, and I'm sorry that you heard me singing more than you probably wanted to, but I was trying to encourage more of a sing-a-long from Nolan! When you get a chance, you have to hear him sing it. Hi.Larious!

BUBBLES!!!

Nolan, LOVES them! So, we decided to get a bubble gun last weekend (blowing them manually is too time consuming, and it starts a huge battle for the wand!)

Nolan had a blast with the bubbles, especially running around like a maniac to pop them...

He even got to try and shoot them himself, but couldn't quite get it...

This seemed to be a great investment cause he was really entertained, especially watching Mancy try to eat the bubbles, but now we realized it was not...

The bubble gun broke. That's right, a week later, and it's broken. We even bought the more pricey one thinking it would last longer. WRONG.

Back to the battle and running out of air :[
*I am really bothered by this blog cause there are problems with the video upload!!! Hopefully it will start workiing...*

Rock On America!!!

That's how my little guy showed his pride...his shirt said "Rock on America!" :)
We didn't do a whole lot yesterday afternoon, but sit around the house trying to figure out what to do before we went out to a friend's house that evening.

Nolan and I occupied our time by doing what Papaw taught us...

Puffing our cheeks and pushing out the air to make a raspberry! : )

This one is my FAVORITE!

After that got old, we played ball around the house, then he and I went to the store so I could make some brownies that...well,...didn't turn out so great :( Oh, well.
Then we went to our friend's house for a cookout and some music, but after 2 hours of being in the sun and running around like a crazy kid, Nolan was asking me to go "bye-bye" and telling his daddy, "night-night!"
Once we got home, I took a few more pictures before bath and bedtime. Nolan knows that you say cheese when you take pictures and that is what he calls my camera, Cheese.
Here he is saying cheese...
This one is EVEN BETTER...

Hope you all had a Happy and Safe 4th!

Happy 50th Granny and Papa!!!

This weekend, we went up to Brady's parent's house to celebrate his granparents 50th wedding anniversary (I hope we make it that far)!

When we arrived, Nolan noticed that everyone was outside so there was no chance of taking him indoors. He also noticed various colors of soccer balls lying around the yard, so naturally he grabbed the first one he came to...

And then the next one, as well as retrieving the first...

He then decided to "try" something...

It was a good try, and the cutest thing I have ever seen...

He finally got some help from daddy...

And...
Nothing.
But.
Net.
It was a great celebration, even if I didn't know a single person there : ) Granny and Papa, you deserved to be spoiled, so I hope you enjoyed it!

As for today, Jamma wanted to get a picture of Nolan in a pair of overalls that his Pop and Daddy had both worn, so...we did!
Nolan looks thrilled right? : )

He was trying to come to me cause he desperately wanted to get the overalls off, however I was no help! He looked too cute!!!

Right before he lost it, I finally got smart and moved over by Jamma so that he would actually look in her direction...

Finally...
The rest of these were taken by Jamma, and I love them all!

"Are we done???" "Take them off, PLEASE!"

Brady asked us if we told him to hold the overalls there, but we didn't have to cause he was trying to pull them off the whole time!

He looked cute, and they were special pictures, so it was all worth it...Sorry little man! : )

*GASP* Could it Be...

A NEW POST?!?!
Yes, friends...it is. Are you finally happy???

So, I recently posted some pics of my little guy playing in his little sprinkler pool at his Jamma's, so I decided to finally post the pics of him in our kiddie pool at home. He loves it this year, and you can tell...

"Man, I love being outside!"
"But, why is it so hot???"
"Why is it so hot, Mom?"
"We've got to do something about this heat!"
"Hey, Dad!"
"Dad! Bring my pool!"
"You got it?"
"Is it ready?"
"You have to get it in there!"
"Lemme do it!"
"See, there!"
"HEY, get Mancy out of my watey!!!"
"Splash, splash!"
"I can do it, Dad!"
"Get some on my face..."
"Ahhh, that felt good!"
"Uhhh..."
"Let's do it again!"
"HAHA!"
"Hey, what's dad doing?"
"DAD, Come play with me!!!"
"What are you doing?"
"Where are you pulling me to?"
"WHOA!!!"
Since he was partially in the pool, Daddy decided that he would take a turn : )
"Um, Dad, you don't fit...I'm just sayin'."
"What a FUN day!"

*The video wouldn't post, so I will try to do that tomorrow...TRY!!! : )
