Christmas Day 2009

*disclaimer: he woke up with wet pj bottoms, so that's why he looks like a big ol' dork

Oh, Christmas morning...

Nolan decided that Christmas morning should start as early as possible...he woke up at 3:45am! Rise. And. Shine. :

I finally got him to go back to sleep around 5:45, which is also around the time that the rest of the family decided to get up and wait for Pop to come back home before we checked out what Santa brought us!

Nolan woke up right before Pop arrived, and after greeting everyone with a "where am I?" smile, he noticed his loot under the tree...

And, of course, the first thing he went to was the red ball!

He then decided to check out what else was down there for him (it was amazing how he knew which pile was his!)...

What is it?

A Moooo flashlight!

Momma, look at this, a Handy Manny coloring book!

Hey, what's that?

A new puppy!!! Awwww...

Time to go open presents.

Santa brought him a "big-head" Mickey,

A pull-along puppy,

And an awesome, happy pirate sweater,

He got lots more stuff, but I couldn't get pics of everything!

After opening gifts, he took a moment with his daddy...

Until he noticed something...

A new truck book!

He then decided that it was time for him to try out all his new toys...

He waited fairly patiently for daddy to take things out of their boxes...

He took his puppy for a walk...

Tried on the cutest blanket from his great-granny and grandpa Mac! He wasn't too sure about it though.

So, daddy had to show him how it's done!

Then it was time to clean up!

"Hey, Jamma, what about these? Is it time to take them down? I'll gladly help!"

After we cleaned up, and finally got dressed, we decided to head over to Granny and Papaw's; but not before exploring in what little snow was left to explore!

Daddy made a small snowball for him to feel...

And, then he was done! Time to go!!!

I hope you all had a blessed and happy Christmas like we did and that those blessings continue in your New Year!

We'll see you in 2010...
